Stacey Garrett, Executive Director

Stacey Garrett serves as the Executive Director of Healing Hooves, where she leads the organization’s mission of empowering individuals and families to heal mind, body, and spirit through equine-assisted services and meaningful community connections.

With more than 20 years of experience in the equine industry, Stacey brings a unique combination of horsemanship, program development, operational leadership, and therapeutic program management. Her passion for horses began while growing up on a farm in Northeast Kansas, where she developed a deep appreciation for the powerful connection between horses and people. She later attended Oklahoma State University and was a member of the university’s inaugural NCAA Equestrian Team.

Throughout her career, Stacey has built and managed successful equine programs serving a diverse range of participants—from competitive riders pursuing excellence to individuals seeking personal growth, confidence, and healing. Her extensive experience includes equine facility management, volunteer coordination, staff leadership, curriculum development, strategic planning, and community outreach. She also played an instrumental role in the development and support of a hippotherapy program that incorporated horses into physical, occupational, and speech therapy services.

Stacey holds multiple professional certifications through the Certified Horsemanship Association, including Level III Instructor Certification and Stable Management Certification. In 2026, she earned her Certified Equine Therapy Practitioner credential, further strengthening her commitment to delivering safe, effective, and impactful equine-assisted services.

As Executive Director, Stacey is focused on expanding access to Healing Hooves programs, cultivating meaningful community partnerships, and creating opportunities for individuals and families to experience hope, growth, and transformation. Her leadership is guided by the belief that horses possess a remarkable ability to foster trust, confidence, emotional awareness, resilience, and personal growth.

About Healing Hooves

Established in the summer of 2024, Healing Hooves is a 501 (c) (3) organization that uses the power of the horse to serve both children and adults with a variety of growth and healing programs.  We have partnered with the Pine Hill Ranch Equestrian Center to offer our unique services, designed to heal body, mind, and soul. Our licensed instructors use our herd of specially trained horses to help fulfill our mission.

As a non-profit organization, we rely on the communities we serve to help support our participants and meet our resource needs. As an organization that pairs with horses to provide exceptional services, we rely on donations. If you choose to donate to Healing Hooves during one of our fundraising efforts, you can be confident that all money raised will be used to provide direct care for our horses and support our programs, ensuring that we can continue to care for those we serve.  Because of your support, the costs for our students, clients, and families remain low, allowing us to serve many who would otherwise be unable to participate in these unique services.
